Q . Reader Interface show 'Communication Down'.
  • Check Door Interface communication status (Green & Yellow LED should blink).
  • Check wiring termination of C+/C- between Door Interface and Reader Interface. Might cause by wrong termination.
  • Q . Green & Yellow LED not blinking or either one of the LED always light ON.
  • Check wiring termination of C+/C- between Door Interface and Reader Interface. Might cause by wrong termination.
  • Change communication IC (75HVD3082). Might cause by faulty IC.
  • Q . EM Lock always release.
  • Check Controller setting, Security should be ON. Might cause by wrong setting.
  • Check voltage on EM Lock (Min = 12v). Might cause by no power or low power.
  • Check termination on Door Interface. (EM Lock should connect to NC1 and GND). Might cause by wrong termination.
  • Q . EM Lock always lock even after valid access or pressing push button.
    Check Door Interface Relay 1 LED. Should light ON when valid access and push button trigger. Might cause by faulty relay.
  • Check Reader Interface voltage (Min = 12v). Might cause by low power so relay not functioning.
  • Check ampere consumption if have other accessory connected. Might cause by insufficient ampere.
  • Check push button termination. Might cause by wiring disconnected.
  • Q . Reader fail to read / range drop whenever there is an exit reader nearby.
  • Check reader to reader distance. Might cause by back to back reader frequency interference.
  • Distance the both reader or add metal pieces behind the reader interface.
  • Q . Unable to login to controller, always shown 'Invalid Password'.
  • Check keypad connection. Might cause by keypad wrongly connected.
  • If problem persist do a Cold Start (All data will be cleared). Might cause by controller data corrupted.
  • Q . Controller / Reader Interface always auto reset once in a while.
  • Check hardware voltage. Might cause by low power or unstable current.
  • Check DIP switch setting, Might cause by address crash.
  • Q . System often down whenever there is lightning storm or blackout.
  • Check electrical grounding of the system. Might cause by improper grounding.
  • Check system hardware / wiring does not go through or nearby high current cable. Might cause by power surge.
  • Add lightning surge protector if system was expose to open air.
    Check DIP switch setting, Might cause by address crash.
